| The rules for playing Magic: the Gathering.
In your battles, you may have only as many creatures, 14 lands (I will go over them), and as many spells and sorceries as you want.
Creatures:
Creatures are your main fighters in this game. They have numbers that indicate their strength. Such as a Phantasmagorian: It has 6/6. The number on the left is strength, and the number on the right is toughness or defense.
Lands:
There are 5 lands in all:
Plains:White Magic
Forest:Green Magic
Island:Blue Magic
Mountain:Red Magic
Swamp:Black Magic
Lands are used to summon your creatures. But in the forum, we don't use lands. We just summon creatures.
Sorceries, Instants, and Enchantments:
Sorcery: A sorcery is a quick spell hat you play to help yourself. They may help you gain life, or raise you power in toughness.
Instant:Instants are used against your opponent to reduce your opponents life or to lower the power/toughness of their creature.
Enchantments:Help you gain life.
The objective of the game is to reduce your opponents life from 20 to 0 before they do. | |
